For the more conservative budget, Electric Gates UK now offer a range of robust & stylish softwood timber gates to complement any driveway.

To order a specific size, from 8-16ft in width, simply choose the width category containing your required size for the correct price, then using the message box, enter your exact width per gate & height & then add to basket, It's that simple!

Although delivery of your gates will usually take 14 days from time of ordering, during busy periods, it can take upto 21 days.

You will be notified via telephone or email when your delivery date is known, so please ensure you give us your contact details when placing your order.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure you give us your correct sizes as mistakes cannot be rectified once your gates have been put into production & any refunds will be refused on this basis.

We have a dedicated team of professional stainer's to create a perfect finish to your softwood timber gates. Our gates go into the staining area for upto 72 hours. Here they undergo 3 coats of stain and treatment all applied by hand and using "Sadoline", one of the finest stain and treatments available. Our softwood timber gates are given 24 hours between each coat and then left for a further 24 hours to dry before being handled.

Helpful Advice: Due to wood being a natural product and prone to expanding and contracting, we suggest a recoat to your gate every 2 years. This will enhance the look and prolong the durability of your gates.

If Staining & Treating the Gates yourself, this needs to be done BEFORE fitting. At least two good coats are required and allow a drying time of 24 hours between coats. Remember: The bottom edge of the gate has to be treated.

All of our gates are designed to allow a degree of movement without splitting. Taking care of your gates correctly will eliminate the risk of having excess water from entering.
